The 15 Most Popular Deathcore Bands In 2024 (According to Spotify)
Who are the most popular Deathcore bands in 2024?
What Is Deathcore?
Deathcore is a mix of death metal and metalcore. The genre is known for down-tuned guitars, blast beats, tremolo picking, and dramatic slowed-tempo breakdowns. Deathcore mostly features extreme metal vocals like screams, growls, and gutturals, but some bands do occasionally include clean singing.
Extreme metal genres like deathcore are bigger than ever before. A few years ago it would've seemed impossible for a deathcore act to surpass 1 million monthly listeners on Spotify, but with bands going viral on social media deathcore bands are reaching new heights never before seen in the genre.
While Spotify Monthly listeners aren't a perfect metric to measure a band's success by, it is generally pretty accurate.
