6deep Set to Release Intensely Brutal EP “Dead In 5” in January

5-piece Cleveland metal act 6deep is excited to announce their upcoming January 5-track EP, “Dead In 5”. The band will debut the most crushingly-heavy showcase of their sound to date. This iteration of their sound displays brutal metalcore, deathcore, and slamming hardcore influences—creating a distinctly intense sound that is 6deep.

Following the success and new creative direction of their single “Ghost”, 6deep foreshadowed the intricately ambient and technical sound to come in January's “Dead In 5”. The band has released 3 singles, "Ghost", "The Disconnect", and "Idle Hands" in 2024 with "The Disconnect" being featured on Slam Worldwide.

With “Dead In 5” the band refines their innovative sound and stays true to their extreme roots while pushing the creative boundaries of metal music. “This EP is about change. As a band and in our personal lives. Lyrically, our frontman Brandon Farley hangs his emotions on every line. These songs are super meaningful and in the feature single ‘Idle Hands’ he expresses the reality of that change and taking accountability for shortcomings. The frustration is mirrored by the aggressiveness of the instrumentals.

The song ‘All But Blood’ is about the grieving process of losing a loved one and reality crashing in that your life is fleeting. Just like ‘Idle Hands’ the music is a reflection of that pain and sadness with he nostalgic feel in the intro and the hard hitting breakdown that is crushing. Everything is personal.” -6deep
