Linkin Park is one of the Top 50 Most Popular Artists Worldwide
Since the band’s announcement of their new single “The Emptiness Machine” Linkin Park has jumped from around 40 million Spotify monthly listeners to over 52 million, making them the 46th biggest artist in the world right now, according to Spotify statistics.
Iconic Rock/Metal act, Linkin Park has been a huge name since 2000 when they released their hit album “Hybrid Theory”. After a 7 year hiatus following original vocalist Chester Bennington‘s unfortunate death — Linkin Park is back with news of lineup additions Emily Armstrong (Co-Vocalist) and Colin Brittain (Drummer).

Linkin Park has been one of the biggest rock/metal bands for years but the band has seen an unparalleled spike in popularity since 2022, with the band floating around 20 million monthly listeners and now peaking at an all time high of 52 million.
With the band’s release of “Lost” and “Friendly Fire” which both were unreleased singles recorded with Chester Bennington’s vocals before he passed away in 2017, Linkin Park built a lot of hype and drew in new fans. This year Linkin Park announced a series of cryptic social media posts and a controversial countdown before announcing their new lineup, a world tour, and an exclusive return performance in Los Angeles, California that took place on September 5th.
While Linkin Park has been a commercially successful band for decades, the act is now one of top 50 most popular bands in the world and is possibly the biggest metal band of modern day. Their new single “The Emptiness Machine” is currently #21 on the Billboard Hot 100, their highest charting song since 2009.
While there has been some controversy around Linkin Park’s comeback, it’s incredible to see a massive return from the band that is bringing hard rock and metal as a whole even further into the mainstream eye. Linkin Park is back and bigger than ever before!
