Introducing MUNCH: The Metal-themed Video Game & Soundtrack
Metal & Mayhem meet in new heavy-metal themed game Munch.
The indie Game studio hailing from Switzerland, Mac N Cheese Games, just released their heavy metal-themed video game Munch. The game is filled action-packed roguelike gamplay that follows the evolution of your player-controlled monster as they consume various enemies. There is a roster of 13 different unique monsters that each represent different metal genres from power to death metal or even groove and thrash. Each monster evolves as you play the game, growing more powerful as you level up. Every character also has its own soundtrack by Clifford Meyer.
Munch is compared to titles like Hades, Maneater, and Brutal Legend, with similar action roguelite gameplay. In the game’s story, a cult called the Followers of Order are dedicated to erasing metal from the world and you fight back as a monster in hack n’ slash fashion as epic soundtracks based off of metal classics like Pantera, Manowar, and Mayhem, fuel your monsters destruction.
“Set your inner beast free and bring chaos back to the world this November with Münch, a game where metal and mayhem collide.”
