Pauzul Grotesque EPK
LA's Independent Horrocore Artist
Bio
Pauzul Grotesque is a horrorcore solo artist from Los Angeles, California. He recently announced that starting January 1st, he will release one single every month leading up to "Keys", his May 7th album release.
Pauzul is deeply influenced by black metal and death metal music, giving an extreme metal edge to his distinct trap sound. Mixing industrial, metal, phonk, and trap elements into his music, Pauzul delves into dark themes with lyrics often converging on topics of mental health issues, drug abuse, and his personal struggle with paranoid schizophrenia. Pauzul Grotesque uses the darker aspects of human experiences to create an ominous sound that is also empowering and sends a strong message to listeners through Pauzul's story.
With music often featuring dramatic samples, Pauzul creates powerful and sometimes off-putting atmospheres forming a distinct "horrorcore" sound that is characterized by violent and dark lyrics/imagery alongside horror-themed sounds.
Latest Work
Pauzul Grotesque released his latest 13 track album "Lead Me to My Past" on October 2nd and it is an impressive display of the independent artists' sound. Ambient and eerie background beats lay room for Pauzul to lay down rhythmic trap vocals.
Pauzul Grotesque showcases a truly unique sound through a chaotic layering of vocals and mixes of screams, whispers, and rapping in a way that creates a grooving yet equally dark and hectic sound. With a sound that pays homage to trap/horrorcore greats like Three 6 Mafia and $uicideboy$, Pauzul Grotesque makes it his own with powerful death metal and extreme metal influences.
