Hailing from Florida, Rain City Drive is a band that blends the best of pop with a stadium-ready hard rock sound. Rain City Drive is known for addictive vocal melodies, electronic influences, and dynamic rock instrumentals that bundle together a powerful amalgamation of genres.

Following their critically acclaimed self-titled album, Rain City Drive released their latest studio album, "Things Are Different Now" today (September 27th). The band explores further into the depths of emotion with their new work, expanding their artistry and sound to a new frontier. Rain City Drive has released 5 of the 11 songs on the album as singles while 6 remain to be heard. Hit tracks like "Medicate Me" have already racked up over 15 million streams on Spotify alone since April of 2024.

Rain City Drive also released an official music video to accompany "Wish You The Best". The track embodies the struggle of love gone wrong, as attempts to move forward are met with inner conflict and intense emotion.

The band's vocalist Matt McAndrew states:

“Sometimes when people break up they say things like ‘I wish you the best’, but really they mean ‘f*** you’. I was seeing someone on and off and we kept saying it to each other. I don’t think either of us actually meant it.”

You can watch the music video for "Wish You The Best" via Thriller Records below.

With "Things Are Different Now" Rain City Drive welcomes themes of change, conflict, and growth, all while creating a distinct and exciting modern rock sound. The Floridian act has been an electrifying presence since their inception in 2019 – they now have over 1.5 million Spotify Listeners and have toured with the likes of Dance Gavin Dance, Dayseeker, and Set It Off.

The quintet is made up of members, Matt McAndrew (vocals), Colin Vieira (bass), Weston Richmond (guitar), Felipe Sanchez (guitar), and Zachary Baker (drums). The band's diverse musical influences and songwriting have led to them becoming what they are today.

“No idea is off the table when it comes to Rain City Drive,” says Bassist Colin Vieira. “There is definitely a sense that the five of us challenge each other, with the different influences and ideas that we each bring, in such a way that pushes us all to try new things. Every day, that makes us a better band and reinforces what Rain City Drive is.

With their rapidly expanding success and evolving sound, Rain City Drive leaves new listeners and long-time fans in the wake of a new era for the band. You can now stream "Things Are Different Now" on all streaming platforms.
