WJRR’s Halloweenie Roast at Addition Financial Arena brought the heavy music community together for an unforgettable night of riffs, roaring vocals, and pure adrenaline. The lineup felt like a dream for rock and metal fans, with Wage War headlining on their Stigma tour, supported by Pop Evil, Erra, Thrown and Fame on Fire.

Fame on Fire

The night kicked off with Fame on Fire, who wasted no time getting the crowd involved. Known for their blend of metalcore with popular covers and energetic originals, they proved they were more than just a warmup act. As the crowd settled in, Fame on Fire turned the place into a full on singalong, their set was the perfect ignition to get things started.

Thrown

Thrown was up next, bringing a raw, relentless energy that had fans thrashing and headbanging. Their heavy breakdowns and brutal vocals made it impossible not to get drawn into the pits. They hit the stage like they had something to prove, and by the end, they had earned the respect of the Orlando crowd.

Erra

Erra was a standout with their signature blend of technicality and emotional depth. Every riff and melody hit hard, but there was also this ethereal quality that brought everyone together. Fans were captivated by “Cure” and “Snowblood,” showing that Erra’s sound has only grown more complex and impressive with time. They were a crowd favorite, drawing cheers that echoed throughout the arena.

Pop Evil

Pop Evil brought a high energy performance, infusing the night with their modern hard rock style that had both die hard fans and casual listeners jumping and singing along. Their songs like “Be Legendary” and “Waking Lions” kept the intensity going with infectious choruses and anthemic vibes. Their sound was more radio friendly, but it bridged the gap perfectly for those looking for hard rock to balance out the heavier bands.

Wage War

Finally, Wage War took the stage as the headliners and delivered one of their best performances. With every track, they brought the passion, pushing the boundaries of metalcore and giving the fans exactly what they came for. Touring on Stigma, they came ready to unleash all of their fan favorites. From “Low” to “Circle the Drain” and “Magnetic” (their first Billboard number one)—every breakdown was intense, every riff was tight, and every scream from Briton Bond felt like a call to arms. The crowd erupted, moshing, screaming, and thrashing to every beat.

For Wage War’s home state fans, it was more than just a concert; it was a reunion. The connection between the band and the audience was electric, as if everyone had been waiting to release months of pent-up energy. When the last song closed, the floor was left in a haze, and fans left knowing they witnessed years of hard work pay off.

This year’s Halloweenie Roast wasn’t just a show; it was a full-blown celebration of heavy music with a Halloween twist, reminding everyone why live rock and metal are here to stay.
