Song Review | "Break Out" - Bayfront View

Florida alternative rock band released their debut EP "Figure it Out" in 2022 featuring their song "Break Out". The 4-minute track features bright guitar chords, thumping bass, and energetic drumming in combination with melodic singing to create a dynamic song. Bayfront View blends alternative rock with a spirited punk sound in a unique and distinct fashion. "Break Out" has a catchy pre-chorus that reminds us of a mix between Weezer and Alice in Chains that leads into a massive chorus with powerful vocal hooks.

Unexpectedly, Bayfront View catapults the listener into a breakdown with rapid chugging and double bass drumming. Overtop of the breakdown a technical guitar solo is introduced that bridges back into a final chorus.
