Song Review | "David and Goliath" - Back From Nothing

New York band, Back From Nothing released their latest track "David and Goliath" today! The track has an overall raw sound to it that seems to take inspiration from rock all-time greats such as Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin. Filled with energetic, heavily distorted guitar, "David and Goliath" creates a classic rock sound. Unexpectedly, 2 and a half minutes into the song rapid rapping vocals kick in, and instrumentals that are much more punk-influenced.

"David and Goliath" is a song that uses influences from multiple genres and has an overall experimental and inventive song. With guitar dissonance, screeching, and more, many different instrumental styles are used keeping a fresh and varied sound throughout the track. Back From Nothing's nearly 6-minute song is a unique blend of classic rock, alternative genres, and punk. Fans of artists like Jimi Hendrix will hugely enjoy "David and Goliath".
