Song Review | “Glow” - Octopus Tree
Spotify Cover: Octopus Tree

Denver’s very own, Octopus Tree, released their latest track, “Glow” on December 2nd. The track starts off with a distinct old-school rock sound before introducing gentle vocals and ambient guitar, forming a sound that reminds us of all-time greats like Queens of the Stone Age, before bursting into a dynmic chorus with climbing melodies and a classic rock/metal sound. Octopus Tree does a great job of mixing a classic sound with a modern and unique flair. The band blends progressive influences with math-rock or even djent-like instrumentals at points in the song.

“Glow” takes a creative spin on a classic sound with progressive and technical elements forming a distinct and attractive sound. Fans of classic rock/metal, power metal, math rock, and djent will definitively enjoy Octopus Tree’s music! You can stream “Glow” out everywhere now!
