Song Review | "In the Place Where the Knife Had Been - Elsewhere
Spotify Cover: Elsewhere

Central Pennsylvania band, Elsewhere, released their latest single "In the Place Where the Knife Had Been" on March 24th. The track starts with a sample of dialogue that kicks into heavy riffage and spoken vocals in a rap-influenced style along with powerful screams. Elsewhere has an intense hardcore sound with guitar dissonance, extreme vocals, and thumping bass lines. The song transitions from a beginning that seems to remind listeners of metalcore before transitioning swiftly into a fierce hardcore sound that pays homage to hardcore greats such as Knocked Loose.

After 3 minutes of brutal riffs and vocals, "In the Place Where the Knife Had Been"  transitions to ominous screeching feedback that gradually fades out the track. Fans of metalcore, hardcore, and any extreme metal genre will highly enjoy Elsewhere! You can stream their latest music now!
