Song Review | "Population Obliteration" - Nuclear Threat
Metal duo from Springfield Massachusetts, Nuclear Threat, released their debut 6-track EP at the beginning of May. "Population Obliteration" has a classic thrash sound that pays homage to many of the greats such as Metallica and Iron Maiden. Lightning fast drumming, soaring solos and raw vocals help to create Nuclear Threat's distinct sound.
"Population Obliteration" is is filled with rapid tremolos and intense riffage that adds to the classic thrash/heavy metal sound. The 3-and-a-half minute track uses guitar harmonies to create a sense of melody in contrast to the harsh vocals. Nuclear Threat shows a promising display of sound with their first release and gives fans an idea of what to expect from future music. Fans of thrash and classic metal will really enjoy Nuclear Threat! You can stream their debut EP now!
