Song Review | "The Final Hunt - Indign

Chicago, Illinois band, Indign creates a familiar classic rock/thrash sound with influences of death metal and metalcore. "The Final Hunt" off of the 2022 album, "Retribution" starts off with tremolo picking, guitar slides, and drums that build anticipation. This leads to singing/screaming vocals and a thrash-influenced verse. Indign alternates death metal style growls and sing-screaming, creating variation. The singing and growls are even layered at points,  working together to blend melody and intensity and create a brilliantly filled atmosphere.

Fans of bands like Metallica and Slayer will really enjoy the mix of melodic-influenced thrash and heavy metal that can be found in "The Final Hunt". Check out Indign's 2022 album, "Retribution"!
