Song Review | "Loathsome Memories" - Thirst
Hailing from South Florida, hardcore band Thirst just released their latest song "Loathsome Memories" on July 5th. Thirst's 3-and-a-half-minute track displays an aggressive sound with powerful screams, chugging, energetic drumming, and hard-hitting bass. "Loathsome Memories" pays homage to hardcore greats such as Knocked Loose and Kublai Khan TX while adding their own distinct flavor to the sound.
Thirst uses chugging bass and guitar riffs layered over it to fill in the atmosphere with strong instrumentals. Guitar dissonance and screeches add variety to the low-end heavy song and form an excellent contrast to make the song even more brutal. The down-tempo track features multiple breakdowns that are sure to get any metal fanatic headbanging. Thirst delivers a fiercely brutal sound that fans of deathcore and hardcore will not be able to resist. You can stream "Loathsome Memories" everywhere now!
