Maryland punk band, Badview released their song "Reanimation" off of their album "Stories Through Scars" in 2019. The song starts with low piano notes and electronic effects that slowly introduce clean guitar and singing. With a scream, the song bursts into energetic guitar riffage and rapid-paced drums. Intense screams and guitar dissonance create a powerful sound that leads into the song's catchy chorus. Badview does an excellent job mixing melody and harshness with huge dynamic shifts.
The 3-and-a-half-minute song throws the listener into a brutal breakdown that finishes off the song in grandiose fashion.
