Song Review | "The Dark Valley" - Kings of Dark Desires

Kings of Dark Desires releases their debut song, "The Dark Valley". The track begins with ethereal synths, creating a strong and creepy atmospheric sound. With an intense guitar chug, "The Dark Valley" transitions into black metal and thrash-influenced styles of music. The band uses tremolo picking, bright drums, and raw screaming vocals that create a black metal feeling.

Dark instrumentals blend with extreme vocals to really create an ominous mood. The track shifts back into the celestial-sounding synths, layering lofi vocals over it, creating an even more emphasized atmosphere than before. This gradually fades out the song, leaving on a gentler tone that adds a lot of variation in juxtaposition to the heavier sound of the rest of the track. Kings of Dark Desires have created an explosive debut single, that gives listeners a great idea of the sound that is to come.
